The Board of Education meeting held
July 16, 2008, was the first meeting
for new Superintendent Lonny Lemon.
Board Member Carol Nichols presented a
report on restructuring and construction of
new "green" buildings for K-5 students.
No action was taken and she emphasized that
the report was informational only.
The Board of Education approved a four-year
agreement with the Custodial Union. In other action, the Board approved:
Renewal of Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Agreement with Blessing Hospital.
Interfund Loan of $400,000 from
Transportation Fund to the Education
Fund.
