This is Adams
Elementary School. We are located on 2001 Jefferson. Join us while we go on a tour of our school. When Adams school was built it was 1891.
It was $310,000 to build this
building. It only had three
classrooms and 130 Kids! When PTA
began it was in the year 1970. The
original building was destroyed. |

This is
Mrs. Ridder, who is the first person
you will meet when you enter the
office at Adams School. She will
always help you with any problem you
have. Our office is very large and
she has to take care of a lot of
things like our attendance. |

This is the
principal’s office. You do not have
to be afraid to go there. Each
month a few students get to eat
lunch with Mrs. Wells in her office
if they have perfect attendance.

Our nurse’s
office is the place to go if you are
not feeling well. Mrs. Bentley will
have you sit in one of these chairs
first to ask you what is wrong. If
you do get sent home, this is where
your parents can find you.

This is our
computer lab. The students have a
lot of fun learning math, reading,
writing, and spelling using the
computer. We like it because our
whole class can use the computers at
once for 2 half hours of the week.

Adams School’s
gym is very cool. It is large
enough that even the high school
girls use it after school for
volleyball. Our P.E. teacher always
thinks of fun things for us to do
each time we get to go to gym class.

Our school
library is awesome. We have a lot
of books. We love to listen to our
librarian read a story to us. It is
a great place to find books to read.

Our cafeteria
looks quiet in this picture. When
we fill it with about 150 students
during 2 different lunch times, it
doesn’t look so empty. Our cooks do
many fun things to make eating in
our cafeteria a great time.

Adams School
has a great playground. This is
just some of the climbing equipment
you will find. We have a large
field that we use for soccer,
football, kickball, and just playing
around. We also can play
basketball, 4-square, and hopscotch
on our cement area. Lots of other
people like to use our playground
after school, too.
