A Message from the Superintendent

Welcome to the Quincy Public School’s district website!  We had much change during my first year as your superintendent.  The central office staff and security departments have moved to our new complex at 1416 Maine…just two doors west…and we are looking forward to a great school year!

It has been a difficult financial year for our nation.  The Quincy Public Schools have not been immune to a downturn in the world economy. Yet, we are beginning to see signs of recovery.  The citizens of this fine community have always responded to difficult times, and I am confident they will again.  Despite our financial troubles, our staff continues to provide a top-notch education for the children of Quincy.  We continue to be proud of our academic and extracurricular programs.  Together, we continue to be committed to the success and well being of our students and their families.

I want to personally thank you for visiting our website.  It is undergoing a major renovation itself.  We hope you will like its “new look” once it is unveiled in the very near future.  Please visit us often!
